  there are many thai places in this area, but on a saturday night, this one was the least packed.  i was hesitant at first since it was so quiet, but my fears were dissuaded after tasting the food.  when you sit down, you get a bowl of shrimp chips, and my friends scarfed them down quickly.
  
  we got some steamed dumplings and tom yum soup to start, and the soup was nice and spicy.  we then got a chicken green curry, prawns w/ chili and garlic, and a pad thai, they were great also.  for dessert, we got fried bananas w/ mango ice cream and the thai custard w/ glutinous rice.  this is nice local place that i would frequent if i lived closer.

  Had a hankering for Thai and as this place always seems busy, we stopped in to try. We were seated immediately in the cute, cozy dining room. All of the the front was open so we could people watch, without losing the intimacy of the restaurant.
  
  The pad Thai was a little bland to my liking, but the panang curry was excellent! Service was quick and the food was fresh. I will be stopping by to try some other curries later.

  This is a brilliant little Thia place in Battersea. I had one of my first meals in SW11 here. There's lots of choice on Battersea Rise but if you're after something oriental, Thai Garden is your best bet.
  
  I came here for Valentines Day with my boyfriend one year and we had a lovely time. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The curries are out of this world and the prices are really decent.
  
  A definite must for any SW11 dweller.

  I'm not being strictly fair, because I'm not the greatest fan of Thai cuisine, but I didn't enjoy my meal here, and in fact I felt slightly ill afterwards. I think it's the nam pla. I don't know.
  
  Anyway, the decor is faded and slightly shabby, the food is average, the service is ok. I just don't think I personally would choose to spend money on an experience that leaves you wishing you'd not gone in. I'm sorry, Thai Garden, it just wasn't my bag.

  Steamed dumplings lovely, however overall experience average at best. Good service though.
